Receiving so others can throw
The catcher is the target. Their own receiving rarely gets a full rep.
Baseball catching lessons in Bellerose, NY work the skills behind the plate: receiving, blocking, and the throw to a base.

In a team practice the catcher is often there so someone else can throw. The lesson is the time that stays on the catcher.
New catchers and players who already play the spot can book. Families come from Queens, Nassau County, and Brooklyn.
Receiving, blocking, and the throw need reps that are not rushed so a pitcher can finish a bullpen.

Local teams need a target. That does not leave much time to teach the catcher.
The catcher is the target. Their own receiving rarely gets a full rep.
Balls in the dirt show up in games. Practice rarely stops to teach the block.
The transfer and the feet are the play. They get rushed when the drill is about the pitcher.
Learning the spot during a team workout is hard when the lineup still has to hit.
Catching lessons pair with the other skill pages. Glove work and throwing have their own small-group labs.
Glove Work and Throwing are GT Labs that help catchers. Memberships add those labs plus private lessons.

Parents and players on coaching at GrindTime Baseball Academy.
Coach Juan is an amazing coach. His way of building these kids up in the game of baseball is by far the best I've seen. His knowledge of the science of baseball is superb along with the other coaches of Grindtime Baseball Academy. As a parent I believe in him and my son does also. Thanks coach... #TRUSTDAPROCESS βΎβΎβΎ πͺπͺπͺ

Catching lessons are in Bellerose. Catchers come from Queens and Nassau County when team practice is not enough time behind the plate. The visit can cover receiving, blocking, and throws to a base. New catchers and everyday catchers can both book.
Brooklyn families book the same lessons. The coach stays with the catcher for the session instead of splitting the time across a whole roster. Say whether the miss is the glove, the block, or the throw. That is the work for the hour.
Tell us where the catcher is starting from, then book the hour.
